The SUMMIT system deserves its' name. It offers the highest performance and flexibility available from a seismic telemetry system. It easily adapts to any environment and numerous applications via 2 channel boxes and CLICK&ON waterproof connectors.

The SUMMIT delivers the best solution for special challenges in the oil and gas industry, mineral and coal exploration and high resolution investigations in the environmental sector as well.

The DROP&PICK case of the SUMMIT works in any humidity range, even in shallow water and can on request be made intrinsically safe for coal mine applications. All SUMMIT connectors are waterproof and can be connected under water anywhere along the line.

DMT's CLICK&ON technique allows you to place the unit at any position along the line. Each SUMMIT box is a complete instrument. It amplifies, digitizes, correlates and stores the data until ordered to transmit it digitally to the Recording Unit. This gives the system high noise immunity leading to excellent data quality. The two-channel technique detects geophone and cable faults rapidly and permits a high production rate.

The SUMMIT is a 2D and a real 3D acquisition system serving the oil & gas industry, mineral and coal exploration and the environmental sector. Through its incredible dynamic range and variety of sampling rates the SUMMIT is very well qualified for any type of survey. Reflection, Vibroseis, Refraction, VSP and Tomographic investigations are methods in which the SUMMIT is "at home".

A simple 2D shallow refraction setup can be done as easily as a 3D system with several hundred channels distributed on 12 lines or more. The 2D setup as well as the 3D setup are controlled by a standard PC. To give even more flexibility DMT's SUMMIT COMPACT for Borehole Tomography and VSP is compatible with the two channel SUMMIT units and can be controlled with the same software.

It consumes minimal power You can easily leave the SUMMIT working in the field for a week or even more. DMT designed the batteries to work for 70 hours in Dynamite Mode and 50 hours in Vibroseis Mode.
CLICK&ON waterproof connectors allow placement anywhere along the line. Two wire line is inexpensive and easily repaired in the field.
Water resistant hand held computer tests and sets up each SUMMIT recorder. Through its' RS-232 port it can be updated by GPS or
a bar code reader.
Blue repeater units work as crosspoint connections and allow virtually unlimited extension of the two wire data line.
