GISCOs' own resistivity cables and electrodes are of the highest quality and much less expensive than those offered by instrument manufacturers. We offer complete field kits for earth resistivity and three terminal ground resistance measurements as well as individual components.

CABLES AND REELS
All cables are red color #18 guage stranded wire supplied on handy, lightweight reels with a handle for winding the cable back onto the reel. One end of the cable is permanently connected to the reel and connects to a "bannana" socket on the reel handle. The loose end of the cable is equiped with a "bannana" plug to connect to the instrument or GISCO electrodes. Cables are available in any length you want up to 1000 meters or 3300 feet. Cables can be pluged end to end without any additional connectors to extend the length or provide flexible spacing as needed.

ELECTRODES
Electrodes are very solid, all stainless steel, welded, and "T" shaped. The "T" crossbar makes removal from the ground easy. The "T" crossbar is also drilled in two places to accept "bannana" plugs which eliminates the need for alligator clips which can fall off or make a poor connection.

FIELD CASES
Resistivity cable field cases are custom fit to hold a complete set of reels plus the electrodes with space left over for other items like jumper leads and a field notebook. Cases are made from a unique corrigated plastic material that is very strong, extremely light weight and completely waterproof. Strong carrying handles are supplied on each end and two straps hold the top on and provide additional handles.

COMPLETE FIELD KITS
