The ever increasing demands of better resolution and denser data coverage
means that the acquisition of resistivity imaging data takes more and
more time. This presents a conflict with the demands of more output
of data for less money.
The ES 10-64 is a new accessory to the Terrameter system that will enhance
the capacity, up to eight times, of the Terrameter SAS 4000 when used
for acquisition of imaging data thanks to easy and convenient access
to all input channels. In practice this means that you collect
4 data samples at a time rather than one, within the same time frame.
Not only that, ES 10-64 is based on leading edge logic IC technology
and hardware cutting the switching to bare necessities and saving a
lot of valuable time. Thanks to the fact that it is faster it will also
enhance the performance of an imaging system based on a Terrameter SAS
1000.
No more hassle with a snake pit of cables and boxes ES 10-64 simplifies
logistics in the field. Only four connectors on the front panel: Two
for the field cables; one for the multifunction cable between the Terrameter
and the ES 10-64; and one for external alarm.
The Terrameter/ES10-64 multi-channel configuration also has a vast potential
for applications such as complex monitoring of dump sites or earth dams,
3D arrays or collection of gradient potential data.
To ensure high endurance the ES 10-64 is housed in a completely sealed
diecast aluminum housing that meets IP 65 and DIN 40050 classification
standards. Power consumption of the ES 10-64 is very low, allowing the
instrument to be powered by the Terrameter. Thus no battery or separate
power cable is needed. Just run your system from only one power source.
