MM-TD-18/60 AUTOMATED THERMAL DEMAGNETIZER

 Advanced features ensure precise temperature control and near zero magnetic field environment for high quality thermal demagnetization of up to 60 one-inch samples at a time, more than any other competing demagnetizer.
  The 4 layers of active mu-metal magnetic shielding are automatically degaussed once power is switched on and are continuously activated when in use.
  The Oven Controller is fully programmable and will allow up to three heating or cooling ramps with hold times in between. The samples are force cooled (800C to 35C in 25 min.) by automatic operation of the blower unit.

  • Shields are closed at one end: east/west orienting of demagnetizer not required to get a low field. The competing models, with both ends open, allow magnetic flux to enter easily.
  • Unique self-degaussing system: activates the four layer shield and insures low field conditions at all times.
  • Single-chamber system: samples are always in a low field environment; not so with the two-chamber systems.
  • Non-magnetic Pt/PtRh thermocouple for oven control.
  • Rugged oven elements: no element failures have been experienced to date.
  • Fully automatic, no need to move samples. Put them in the oven and run Heat/Hold/Cool program.
  • Can heat samples in controlled atmospheres or vacuum.

The MM-TD-60 and 18 can be used in combination with Model MMLFC Portable Enclosure for Magnetic Shielding.
