JR-5A AUTO SPINNER MAGNETOMETER

  • Superb Sensitivity:
    2.4 x 10^-6 A/m
    (2.4 x 10-9 emu)
  • The JR-5A Spinner Magnetometer is an advanced features instrument to measure remanent magnetization in rock specimens.
  • With Automatic, Software Driven, change of specimen position during measurement.
  • Individual specimens are measured three to four times faster than previously possible.
  • NOT AVAILABLE FOR END USERS IN USA OR CANADA
The Automatic Spinner Magnetometer, JR-5A, using special holders that allow automatic orientation of specimens, is an advanced version of the JR-5. All the desirable features of the JR-5 are retained. All functions are microprocessor-controlled. The microprocessor controls measurements, carries out digital filtration of the signal, controls and tests the speed of specimen rotation orientation, and automatically executes tests for erroneous conditions. The JR-5A retains the capability of selectively using the standard manually operated specimen holders.

The JR-5, with manually operated specimen orientation, is available at lower cost.

The JR-5A can be used in combination with Model MMLFC Portable Enclosure for Magnetic Shielding.
