512-channel gamma-ray spectrometer for field, borehole, car, laboratory

In situ K, U, and Th analyses

Sensitive and accurate dose rate meter

NaI(Tl) or BGO detectors

Simultaneous multi-probe measurement

High quality rechargeable Li-Ion batteries for 3-4 working days

Easy control system

Applications:

determination of concentrations of elements (especially K, eU, eTh),

dose rate and gamma-ray spectra measurements, radiation sources

identification for environmental radiation monitoring, geological

mapping and studies, mineral and raw material prospecting,

laboratory assays, health care etc.

The GMS multichannel gamma-ray spectrometer can solve a variety of tasks for surface and borehole surveying. The compact water-proof probe equipped with either a NaI(Tl) or BGO scintillator coupled with sophisticated spectral analysis provides a wide range of high sensitive and accurate measuring applications.

The GMS enables 512 channels spectral analysis, the quantitative assays of U, Th, K concentrations, and radiometric measurements. The ability of the optional BGO scintillator to detect the high energy gamma quanta makes possible neutron activated spectral analysis (e.g. assays of H, S, Fe, Ti, Mn, Cl, and Hg).

The GMS is designed for geophysical and environmental surveying, geological prospecting, industrial monitoring of radioactivity, and laboratory sample analysis. Data can be transferred to the user’s PC. A measurement can be organized both as a single measurement and as profile measurements for the constructing maps. The profile curves are shown on the graphic screen immediately.

The GMS can be powered either from internal batteries, a car battery, or from AC supply. Optional accessories for shallow borehole logging allow measurements down to about 30 meters depth.
